other than that, not much has happened today. my dvd writer is shafted, but im working on it. Katie is coming home tonight. Maw and *ahem* Dad2 have left for their holiday.
but i can download games to my mobile for free. XIII on the mobile is great! think im gonna go play it now.

egad! the lecturer has just stated the main use of a firewall is to prevent cookies! i dispair.

i tried to record this stuff on my phone, but it didnt come out. the whole conversation was along the lines of:
woman doing the internet module, and obviously one of the questions says something about clearing the cookies. so she asks denise. denise says she doesnt want to do that, as thats where pop-up adverts come from.
then in a trailing off, yet matter-of-fact kinda way she mentions that thats why some people feel the need for firewalls.
err, how do you reformat the rest of the site outside the index?
